Through sustainable energy generation in our local community we can power the next generation with energy that doesn’t cost the earth.
Across East Anglia
We are at the forefront of developing systems of hydro power generation that could be applied right across East Anglia. We will seek to bring the importance of this essential local resource to the attention of central government.
How we will achieve this?
Waterside Green Energy was set up as a community initiative in February 2020 to do just this.
Our purpose is to research possibilities for generating energy from renewable natural resources. The results of our research will lead to the generation of electricity.
Communities in the Huntingdonshire area will be able to share in the ownership and benefit from the profits. We are committed to community engagement and ownership, eliminating fuel poverty and educating young people.
